How it works
Enter the names, the address, the rent and the months you need. The tool makes one receipt for each month, with the amount in words, ready for the landlord to sign. It runs entirely in your browser: what you type is not stored and not sent to RentRo or anyone else.
Things to know
- Employers often ask for rent receipts when you claim house rent allowance. What they accept, and whether the landlord's PAN is needed, depends on tax rules that can change, so confirm with your employer or a tax professional.
- A receipt only records a payment that was really made. Keep your bank or UPI record as well.
- If you pay in cash, ask your landlord about any stamp or other requirement that may apply.
